Meet Dan Kloster, M.D.

Dr. Dan Kloster is a board-certified medical doctor with experience in anesthesiology and chronic and cancer pain management. As part of his commitment to patients, he stays up-to-date on the latest pain management techniques and technologies.

Education and Training

Dr. Kloster earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, MN. He received his medical degree and completed his anesthesiology residency at the University of Kansas in Lawrence, KS. Additionally, he fellowship trained in chronic and cancer pain management from Harvard Medical School at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA.

Memberships and Societies

Previously, he taught interventional pain techniques for several medical corporations. He's also spent many years involved in physician education.

"I was referred to Dr Kloster by my orthopedic surgeon for post-op knee pain. At the time of the referral I was told that he does not connect with some people. This is obvious from some of the comments here. However, after visiting him as a patient, I found that there was no basis for these claims. He treated me with respect and really wanted to help. He does tell it like it is which some people have difficulty dealing with reality. I also found Dr Kloster to be a rather entertaining individual. Most important, as I am a scientist, Dr Kloster used science based modalities to treat his patients. I am glad I went to him!"
